On April 30, 2024, students and faculty of O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv attended a lecture by Dr. Zoia Adamia, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, and Director of the Georgian-Ukrainian Institute of Linguistics and Culture at Georgian International University GIU LLC, on the topic "Cultural and Mental Characteristics of Georgia" within the discipline of "International Business and Economic Diplomacy" of the educational program "International Economics".
During the lecture, attendees were introduced to the ancient history and culture of the Georgian people and learned about ongoing modern projects aimed at supporting Ukrainians in Georgia. The lecturer explained how issues of inclusivity for our fellow citizens in Georgia, the subject of the Re-Direction project, are addressed, with GIU and O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv being among its partners. Students had the opportunity to learn more about the peculiarities of preparation and organization of negotiations with Georgian partners.
